A Research Scientist positionfor a person with expertise in Medical Imaging, Medical Image Analysis, orMedical Physics is available immediately. The successful candidate will be workingin the Healthcare Department at the Philips Innovation Campus in Shanghai.

Successful candidates will have astrong background in medical image analysis, computer vision, or machinelearning and good track record in some of these areas, as evidenced byscientific publications and/or patents. The research projects will primarilyfocus on developing novel imaging/image analysis techniques and expand currentimaging techniques into new clinical application areas.

The position is available immediatelyand applications will be accepted until the position is filled.

Compensation is competitive andcommensurate with experience.

Required Qualifications:
A Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or other related field. A Master’s degree in the above fields with 3+ years of experience in relevant research areas may also be considered.
Solid experience on algorithm development in image segmentation, registration, modeling;
General knowledge on imaging physics of at least one of the common medical imaging modalities;
Highly motivated with a strong interest in clinical research for MR or other imaging modalities;
Proficient in modern programming languages, such as C/C++;
Strong communication skills in English;
Team player;
3+ years of post-graduate industrial research experience is desired.
