You will report to
the Category Design Lead Kitchen Appliances

You will be
- designing and realizing design solutions, on basis of the agreed upon design brief and on professional orientation, in delegated contact with the business partners and in close consultation with the senior art director.
- working within the context of the given Philips Design policy with a high level of independence
- participating in defining the briefing for the projects to be handled by you
- participating together with the design manager / art director in defining budget for the project
- preparing specifications for internal and external services
- preparing and maintaining the relevant documentation
- assuming responsibility for an identifiable portion of the portfolio
- responsible for the overall design quality and adherence to BIDA and QL/QR principles
- coaching and training one or more younger designers
- leading in the further development of the Product & Services Design competence in the branch, meeting the objectives set by Category Design Lead

You will work for
- The Consumer Lifestyle BG’s Domestic Appliances (household appliances such as blenders, rice cookers, soy bean milk makers, hot pots), projects can be driven over multiple locations, cross regions and involving multi -disciplinary resources and competences.
You will work with
- an internal team of Designers & Project Managers to balance all delivery in terms of quality, time & money.
- designers within your area (product designers, graphic designers, vta designers, product graphic designers)
- specialists within and outside Philips Design
- business partners like Consumer Marketing Management and Developers
You have
- Masters / Bachelors degree in Product Design
- minimum of 7-9 years of experience
- a senior level of necessary professional skills, including computer skills
- a strong professional ambition
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- a good business command of the English language
- strong business awareness
- basic consultancy skills
