Major Responsibility:

• Support sourcing team for supplier selection and complete supplier assessment report from quality side


• Coaching supplier staff on quality principles and tools applying (QFD, FMEA, SPC, MSA, FAI, PPAP, Control Plan…)


• Monitor supplier performance based on KPIs (PPM, FTT, Yield, Complaints) and follow up the corrective actions when below the target


• Work closely with project teams for Safe Launch of Production Release Process


• Leading supplier Improvements & Developments to improve product quality and reduce cost of Non-quality


• BOM review with R&D and supply chain team to understand and define critical materials requirements.


• Work closely with supplier to do tier-2 supplier audit and management for critical materials.


• Organize/Conduct Process Audits and follow up any open issues till closure


• Monthly Report supplier Quality Performance for management review


• Warranty quality control (outgoing inspection) of all finished Philips products and sign approve Quality Agreements with supplier


• Tutoring/Monitoring supplier in responding customer complaints effectively and timely


• Communicate/Response events, problems and reports to customers (Internal & external) when needed.

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor degree above, and deep knowledge of electronic assembly & manufacturing process and Quality System as well


• Lighting knowledge and automotive industry experience are preferred


• More than 5 years experience in supplier Quality Control / Development and 3+years working experience in LED, PCBA assembly, international company experience will be a plus


• Good Problem solving skill, willing to drive both process and result.


• Working experience in LED industrial most preferred.


• Communicate effectively, Teamwork, Flexibility and self learning


• Good English, both in written and spoken


• Willing to travel a lot


• 6sigma GB or Lean Mfg certification will be a plus


• Prepare good & clear Material Quality Specification (translation Customer requirements and Manufacturing requirements towards supplier)


• Good understanding and able to explain Customer Requirements


• Knowledge of ISO/TS16949


• Knowledge of all Quality Tools


• Shall have certificate for auditor VDA6.3 and/or ISO/TS16949
