职位描述

Position Purpose
Plan and implement a successful sales program for China with a focus on establishing PHD's market presence in China. Work closely with PHD's distributor channel through technical support, training, joint sales calls, project tracking, and accountability in support of growth throughout China. This includes, but not limited to territory sales plans, focused market plans, and salesperson development. Provide input on high potential markets and customers and assist in developing plans for possible manufacturing of PHD products the region.

Reporting Structure
China Business Manager will initially have no direct reports. Opportunity exists for additional sales personnel that could report to the China Business Manager in the future.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
? 5 to 10 years' experience in Sales & Marketing in China required
? Must speak fluent Chinese and English
? Thorough knowledge of industries and markets in China
? Ability to present and sell technical products
? Ability to gather information and organize it in a presentable manner
? A solid understanding of the sales process
? Ability to work well with others
? In depth knowledge of industrial automation
? Ability to identify and define processes with the manufacturing function
? Ability to identify and apply PHD products into those processes (training)
? Ability to identify and define products required to further penetrate into China
? Ability to effectively work with distributors to help increase sales and penetration within each county
? Ability to manage distributors at all levels to gain mind share and market share within the given territory
? Ability to track and manager multiple projects
? Ability to develop relationships with customers and distributors

Functions
? Manage and support of the distribution channel.
? Monitor and track progress of China distributors using various reports
? To identify and develop new solutions for a given market.
? Spread solutions throughout distributor network.
? Document sales plan for China and various target markets
? Research and organize target market information.
? Communicate PHD market direction and focus to effected PHD distributors.
? Organize training, and providing direction to distributor salespeople
? Conduct field visits to obtain information and to drive sales.
? Assist in the selection of markets and customers to be focused on
? Work to build positive relationships with key customers
? Provide specific product development direction for China
? Monitor salesperson's PHD sales funnels and provide suggestions for improvement
? Hold distributor management and salespeople accountable for PHD sales
? Put together plans for building market share within a given territory
? Hold distributors accountable to goals set
? Maintain heavy travel schedule
