In order to accomplish all tasks, we require the BEX (exterior engineer on site) to have the skills and competences described as below:
1. KNOWLEDGE in AUTOMOBILE ELECTRONICS and ELECTRICAL COMPONENT
- Deep understanding regarding vehicle and component development planning. Eg.: requirement and maturity level for different development stage.
- Circuit/schematic design, component selection, and layout of Analog and digital embedded systems, including ICs/microprocessors, isolated and non-isolated power supplies and power converts
- Quality test plans specification
- Technical guidance to manufacturing and forecast action plan to improve supplier tests plans (eg. Test benches, equipment,...)
- Know compliancy product related to international safety and quality regulations (eg. ISO-11452, ISO-7367, ISO-14230...)
2. DESIGN COMPETENCE
- Documentation skills for Specification development
- Validation knowledge (EMC, Environmental and Mechanical)
- Provide problem solving
- Component Quality and reliability (DFMEA)
3. EXPERIENCE in COMPONENT DEVELOPMENT
- Project management and communication skills
- 5 years experiences as electronics product designer in electronics/electrical/automotive area
- Experience in embedded software
- Electronics design capabilities on analog/ digital circuits, layout & PCB design
- On-site problem solving capability
4. LANGUAGE
- English: fluent (TOIEC level>800)
- Chinese: Good communication skills
- French: would be a plus
5. SOFTWARE SKILLS
- Microsoft Office tool: Proficient at least
- HW design tool: Deep knowledge
