Major responsibilities:

- Familiarize with the market attributes and understand client’s preference.

- Supervise the team to enhance service delivery and operation efficiency.

- Direct to research and engineering to coordinate information and data on new products and systems and to direct engineering in research and design tasks.

- Assist in building and maintaining a strong vendor network to meet customers’ expectation.

- Establish professional relationships and negotiate the best offer with main customers and others potential sales prospects.

- Identify business opportunities by finding new vendors or product ideas to client.

- Settle disputes between clients and vendors on claims while keeping their good business relationship.

- Identify current problems, foresee pitfalls and advise resolution to subordinates to maintain smooth workflow.

- Act as liaison between functional departments such as technical and QA departments to ensure related communications are implemented into the daily routine.

- Perform special projects and analyses, as required.

Qualification requirements:

- Degree preferably in Merchandising, Supply Chain Management or related disciplines

- Minimum 8 years solid experience of in Lighting and at least 3 years experience at supervisory level.

- Strong knowledge in material related to lighting products.

- Knowledge in US market is preferred.

- Good network with factories and suppliers in HK & mainland China

- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin

- Good communication, leadership, negotiation and problem solving skills.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skill to interact with all levels, both external and internal.
