BASIC FUNCTION:
Conduct Statistical Audits of Cover Suppliers in Lingping, Wuxi, and Zibo China on a weekly basis following the guidelines detailed in the La-Z-Boy Statistical Audit Procedure. Certification of covers being prepared for shipment to the La-Z-Boy / Schenker CCC to all La-Z-Boy Quality Specifications. Generates statistical audit reports and develops corrective action plans for Cover Suppliers that are producing non-compliant material.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Schedule weekly statistical audits with all Cover Suppliers assigned to them using the Mil Spec 105 Statistical Audit Plan.
* Calculate the audit population based upon Mil Spec 105 and using the Supplier Packing Slip
* Inspect Cover in the audit population to insure compliance to La-Z-Boy Cover Quality Standards
* Make final decision on accepting or rejection a container shipment
* Document statistical audit results and generate reports for La-Z-Boy Cover Quality, La-Z-Boy Global, Suppliers, and Supply Chain Team Members
* Develop continuous improvement reports from the statistical audits and present them to La-Z-Boy Cover Quality and Supply Chain Management teams
* Review and analyze statistical audit reports and provide recommendations for reduced, normal, and tightened inspection requirements
* Support the La-Z-Boy Cover Quality Team and Suppliers with the 8D Corrective Action Process
* Evaluate Supplier testing data during statistical audits to insure compliance to La-Z-Boy Standards
* Support PPAP Process Team Members during the new cover launch process

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* 4 year degree in Business or Quality Management
* Excellent English communication skills
* Excellent visual color assessment capability
* Technical training in writing control plans
* Computer skills - business software - Word, Excel, and Power Point
* Communication skills - including verbal & written, presentation, negotiation & conflict resolution.
* Weekly Travel to Lingping, Wuxi, and Zibo China
