Summary:
-Support global and local production R&D.
-Work as a senior team member on developing firmware for embedded product.
-Lead project from firmware perspective, make decisions, solve complex issues, analyze the requirements, breakdown to high level designs, write detailed design documentation
-Identify and resolve the technology issue from firmware perspective.
-Cooperate with a wide variety of sources, including upper management, client and other functional team for both local and global team.
-Activities are self-determined and involve the assessment and resolution of complex problems at the project/functional level.
-Develop firmware driver and software on embedded circuit board

Requirements/Objectives:
-Be familiar with Software/Product Development lifecycle with at least 1~2 production release
-Extensive Experience with Firmware Design and Architecture.
-Understanding of Embedded OS kernel working mechanism, Experience in uCLinux or Linux is mandatory;
-Knowledge about ARM, Cold Fire, and xScale;
-Familiar with Posix and BSD Socket programming (both Winsock and BSD socket)
-Persuasive, encouraging and motivating.
-Strong written and oral communication skill in both Mandarin and English
-Desired knowledge and experience with networking, wireless technologies (WiFi, Bluetooth, Zigbee) and cellular (GSM, GPRS, 3G)

Education/Experience:
-Master/Bachelor of Computer Software or Electrical Engineering degree required.
-About 4~7 years experience with C/C++ on Linux/uClinux platform, experience in IPC/BSD Socket, Posix thread programming
-Experience in software architecture design using UML.
-Experience in driver debugging through ICE and work load/real time optimization
-Experience in developing and debugging boot code (for example Uboot) and board support packages(BSP, for example, I2C, SPI, Flash, Network etc) on kernel 2.6 will be a big plus
-8/32 bit microprocessor architecture experience (TI/ADI DSP)
