Eaton Electrical now has an opening for Product Manager located at Shanghai, China.
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
To define and implement product strategies, manage product portfolio, pull/push sales force to optimize sales/ profits/market share for the product line across Asia Pacific.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Own sales revenue and profit target of the product line. Lead the profit planning and strategic planning processes for the product line. Define and implement product line short and long term strategies to optimize sales and profit in APAC.
2. Plan and manage the product line life cycle and portfolio offering. Maintain product roadmaps and lead the implementation of product development plans.
3. Conduct market studies to identify customer needs, market trend, and competitive landscape.
4. Develop and implement pricing and special price strategies for control product line. Manage price realization objectives.
5. Align manufacturing strategies with customer needs in APAC and work with plant management to implement these objectives.
6. Develop channels and their capability with relative departments to accelerate product sales growth.
7. Establish customer satisfaction and quality mindset throughout the organization.
8. Identify product line value propositions and highlights. Make abundant and effective product tools to develop market and support sales, including product literature, sales guide, demos, etc.
9. Drive and support sales persons to develop customers with initiative actions.
10. Plan and execute product promotion activities, and create diversified promotion methods to improve sales effectiveness.
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)
1. Bachelor’s degree, major in engineering. Master is preferred.
2. 5+ years related experience in marketing, sales, or similar role within the electrical industry.
3. Knowledge of drive, soft starter, HMI/PLC, automation, low voltage equipment and systems including circuit protection, product application and market.
4. Fluent in written and spoken English.
5. Creative Thinking
6. Work under pressure.
