Accountability
The Material Responsible is accountable to:
? Create a seasonally updated yarn/fabric/leather library according to brand needs and market novelties with clear price overview
? Identify suppliers that correspond to brand needs and demand on quality and price
? Identify and promote business opportunities

Main Responsibilities
? Support (plan, organize and guide) the designers with yarn/fabric/leather sourcing and development opportunities during development stage
? Analyse and filter options to BO considering:
？ Options are technically appropriate for all requested products (support from Purchasing Merchandiser)
？ Follow material and component strategy (based on buying strategy)
? Execute the agreed risk assessment strategy in development stage to take necessary actions to reach best material and product
? Identify and maintain strong basic yarn/fabric/leather brand board for PO to use as reference for local sourcing opportunities

Education and Experience requirements
? Professional education in fashion relevant to the product
? Experience in product development process
? Preferably 3 years of relevant experience
? Specific knowledge of global fashion trends

Knowledge and Skill requirements
? Excellent written and spoken English
? Strong knowledge and understanding of key customer
? Clear communication skills including written and verbal with people in diverse locations
? Drive & Own initiatives – takes initiatives, action in time and strives to achieve goals
