Role Purpose:

·To be responsible for the collection and analysis of information and data found within the various property sectors in selected cities in the East China region

·To be responsible for the composition of regular market reports as well as the write up of topical papers

·To be responsible for composing and providing market presentations to clients

·To be responsible for providing information and data (both raw and analysed) internally to other business lines within the firm

·To be responsible for a certain amount of media activity work during any given year

Key Accountabilities:

·Infuse and solidify a one team approach, not just for the team but also in terms of the company as a whole

·Take on extra duties so as to ensure work within the team flows smoothly

·Offer ideas on enhancing and reforming the team’s modus operandi

·Become a focal point of contact between other business lines in the office – especially the Office business line

·Provide high level input into the production of various research presentations, reports and publications

·Attain supplementary research data and information from further sources in relation to the production of various research presentations, reports and publications

·Spearhead the team, from time to time, in the generation of ideas and plans related to various research presentations, reports and publications

·Assume the responsibility of making sure all research presentations, reports and publications worked on are of high quality and are delivered in a timely fashion

·Demonstrate a logical thought process leading to an understandable message in terms of all undertaken research presentations, reports and publications

·Offer new ideas in terms of new research output

·Assist the team leader in the development of new research output

Required Technical Experience:

·Proven understanding of the property market in China

·Outstanding analytical skills

·Experience of leading, driving and writing high quality thematic research reports

·Strong written and verbal communicator, able to present ideas and recommendations clearly and confidently

·Honed client skills

· Good communicator (both in Chinese and English)
