Three years ago Philips started the Finance Transformation Program tocreate a better, smarter and sharper Finance Function.
The Accounting Operations Organization is an important part of thisprogram, centralizing and outsourcing many activities prior to standardization.Continuous Improvement is seen as a critical enabler to make the currentchanges and efficiencies sustainable. Consistent with the establishment of‘Lean’ as Philips Excellence Practice, we see Lean Six Sigma as a criticalenabler to realize the Continuous Improvement objectives.


Key areas of responsibility
As Regional Lean Practitioner, you will enable the coordination anddelivery of the Continuous Improvement Lean Program within AccountingOperations.
By teaming up with the Lean Champion in your region you will promoteand reinforce the End2End Lean Thinking in our teams.

From a PDCA cycle perspective:
Plan, Do - Regional Lean Champion = 70%, Regional Lean Practitioner = 30%
Check, Act - Regional Lean Practitioner = 70%, Regional Lean Champion =30%,

Contribute to the development of the Lean deployment plan in Accounting Operations
Establish and maintain a demand management process for process improvements
Coordinate and support the execution of the Lean deployment
manage and implement cross domain and/or highimpact improvement projects, applying proven project and change mgmt tools,leading to realization of targets set by mgmt/sponsor
monitor all Lean projects on milestones &deliverables
Ensure replication of Lean improvement and simplification initiatives across Accounting Operations teams and processes

Actively contribute to a continuous improvement network in Accounting Operations, in broader Philips Finance, with our Outsourcing partner and with the Philips Excellence network to ensure deep knowledge and best practices sharing
Identify trends in operational performance,identifying root causes and action plans/projects for improvement (PDCA cycle,Continuous Improvement)

Your team
The Regional Lean Practitioner reports to the Regional Lean Championand to the global Lean Master for Accounting Operations.
You will be part of the Global Lean team to establish a Lean way ofthinking, planning and delivering Continuous Improvement throughout Finance Operationsglobally.
You work closely with the various parts of the finance function, inparticular Accounting Operations,FP&A and Internal Control , as well as with our Outsourcing partner.


We are looking for
Bachelors or Masters degree (required)
Minimum of 4 years working experience of which at least 1 year of basic experience in Lean Office (Finance preferred) deployment (required)
Structured, accurate, analytical, process driven with Project and Change management skills
Understanding of financial processes (required)
Experience within a multinational company (required)
Passion for Continuous Improvement and an eye for waste detection
Excellent communication skills (in English language) and networking skills
The ability to enthuse colleagues in Lean thinking
to 40 hours (fulltime is preference) and prepared to travel within APAC 15% of time
Customer focused with a proven drive to getthings done
