-The Software Integration& Verification Engineer is a crucial role in our SW development team to ensure the functionality, safety, and quality of our embedded SW in our electric power train systems. He/She is responsible to integrate SW components into the SW and ensures that the SW fulfils all internal and external requirements. With their broad knowledge of our product software, the SW integration engineer is the first one to analyze test failures and quickly track the problems within the embedded SW to the failure-causing SW components. He/She strictly follows our internal processes for SW development and defect management toensure 100% test coverage.

What are my responsibilities?
-Responsible for the SW integration and SW test activities assigned by SW test manager, ensure the tasks are completed on time.
-Verify that SW modules or components are ready for integration according to the internal SW development process
-Integrate the SW modules or components to larger SW components or SW for test regarding to SW architecture and requirements
-Ensure the integrated SW always can build, is functional and runs stable
-Specify and design the integration test cases for the larger SW components and SW
-Implement the integration test cases in an advanced integration test environment with a high degree of automation
-Integrate integration test cases into automatic test suites, such as nightly tests, smoke tests, etc.
-Maintain SW integration systems such as Continuous Integration, Test Automation, and Hardware-in-the-Loop systems , Test Management system, etc.
-Analyze test failures in the embedded SW, for example by debugger tool, and track them to the failure-causing SW component
-Input all problems to our defect-tracking system, track the defect status and ensure it is solved by regression test
-Prepare integration and test documentation according our internal process
-Prepare the SW release

What do I need to qualify for this job?
-Master degree or above in Electronic engineering or similar
-at least 1 years’ experience in SW integration and test
-Proficiency in C programming language
-Basic knowledge of SW integration and test methodologies
-Basic knowledge of SW architecture, and AUTOSAR knowledge is a plus.
-Solid experience in debugging, integrating and testing embedded software
-Hardware-in-the-Loop testing, test automation, continuous integration
-Agile SW development methods
-Defect management
-Basic knowledge of configuration management
-Basic knowledge of motor control, and experience in motor control application is a plus.
-Experience in the automotive industry is a plus, particularly with regard to electric drive train technology
-Good English communication skills required
