职 责:
1. Position Summary: What is the main purpose of this job? Why does it exist? (e.g., to create marketing strategies; to develop, support and grow Compliance awareness etc.) Please summarize in two to three sentences.
This position requires the individual to ensure that the management of distributors is performed with the highest ethical and compliant standards and to be a consultant and partner to the business leaders in reviewing and improving the distribution models and processes to grow the business using compliant business practices. 2. Principal Accountabilities: What are the key responsibilities of this job? List the what, how and why of each responsibility and provide examples, as necessary. Use specific verbs of action, such as “manages”, “operates”, “analyzes”, “designs”, etc. Indicate three to five accountabilities in descending order of importance and approximate % of time spent on each.
Performing the activities of distributor appointment, renewal, changes and termination applications, and ensuring compliance by managers and distributors; to enforce the standards in these applications and ensuring that proper due diligence has been done on the documents prior to approvals. To achieve the outcome of these applications within the lead time metrics set for them.
To work with the commercial team to ensure that commercial due diligence is completed. To liaise with the Legal Department and external third party on the legal due diligence report required for the appointment of the distributor; To ensure that the standards and criteria for both due diligence has been complied with.
Performing due diligence on the termination application and conducting exit interviews with distributors to determine the facts surrounding the termination; Minimal legal, compliance and financial risks to Covidien.
Updating the iAvenue Distributor Management System and DIS system for China; In-market sales and inventory reports, distributor information and performance reports on distributors and accurate data. Supporting profitable growth.
Preparation of documentations for distributors upon approval of the applications and ensuring that these documents are prepared in compliance with company policies.
Working with the Channel Supervisor on continuous process improvements projects to enhance work efficiency and shorter lead time. This involves updating the key metrics and KPIs and achieving the savings.
Will assist Channel Supervisor and the Legal Department in coordinating and providing training to distributors on FCPA, Ethics and Trade Compliance and any other training requirements as required.
Will analyze DIS and distributor performance data to determine any business gaps and red flags and to raise the red flags to the Sales, Marketing and Legal Department where necessary.
Partnering the commercial team to conduct performance evaluations of distributors.
To manage distributors’ reporting of complaints and incidents by coordinating with relevant parties concerned to expedite its resolution; Customer satisfaction and reporting of red flags.
To act as a ‘Watch Dog’ on FCPA, ethical and compliance requirements.
To provide support and training to distributors on the upload of information to DIS; Complete and accurate DIS data from distributors.
To assist the Channel Supervisor in detecting business gaps in the management of distributors and their performance.
To perform data mining activities; Supporting profitable growth for Covidien.
Maintain distributor database to ensure the completeness of the distributors’ authorization and basic information.
To organize the yearly and quarterly distributor meeting to enhance the relationship between the covidien and distributors.
Other issues as required.
