Summary of job contents
Provide 1st and 2nd level support activities of the IT Service Desk and Systems Administration teams to meet agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA) for IT communications, hardware and software applications for several business entities in APAC. Provide and sustain technologically innovative and highly stable architecture, inclusive of the data and telecommunications infrastructure. Ensure services are in compliance with Festo’s global IT standards and project requirements.

Key accountabilities
? Coordinate the IT activities for different locations and organizations in the area of responsibility.
? Monitor and evaluate service levels, client demand, problems, and usage, and take the appropriate action.
? Support for the valuation, selection, purchasing, implementation, maintenance and support (administration) of all computer hardware and software, printers, mobile devices, and communications lines according to Festo’s global IT standards.
? Responsible for user administration of company Windows-based systems, including e-mail, Active Directory, and telephones.
? Responsible for the performance, security, availability, and maintenance of the local data center(s).
? Responsible for the design, performance, and security of the LAN, WAN, VPN, WLAN, and telecommunications infrastructure.
? Responsible for the design, administration, performance, and availability of the Windows-based server and application environment, inclusive of e-mail and regular data backup.
? Coordinate project and support efforts with the other ITService Hub(s), and Festo global Headquarters in Scharnhausen, Germany. Maintain regular international staff and management meetings to ensure seamless integration between global support entities.
? Additional work in excess of normal business hours is necessary to perform the essential duties and responsibilities. This includes extra efforts required for frequent and/or extended duration.
? Frequent and impromptu travel may be required via any mode of transportation as determined by company for business reasons such as, but not limited to, skill development, training, or a company business event. This would include travel to Corporate Headquarters/Regional (Field) offices in both region 3 and Germany.
? Other tasks and responsibilities may be assigned as required.

Requirement:
? At least 2 years experience in managing IT environments
? Information Technology University Degree or above
? Computer skills:Client/Server operation, LAN, WAN, VPN, WLAN, and telecommunications infrastructure
