Job Location:

Shanghai, China

Salary:

Competitive Salary (depending on experience)

Reporting to:

General Manager - East Asia, based in Shanghai

Travelling:

Frequently

Recruitment process:

+ Telephone interviews

+ Face-to-face interviews

Responsibilities:

+ Extending the network of technical specialists at potential clients

+ Realizing new projects at potential clients and existing projects which are already in the sales funnel

+ Internal and external project management

+ Reporting of new opportunities

+ Based in Shanghai responsible for different regions within China

Requirements:

+ Bachelor degree (conditionally accepted with other proven capabilities). Master degree (preferred)

+ More than 5 years of experience in technical sales

+ English language: Communication with colleagues at head office and line managers and on Technical and commercial subjects

+ Sales Ability

Prefer proven existing sales experience. If not available then candidate needs a strong technical background and desire to move into sales.

+ Technical Ability

Problem solving and analytical skills

Rapid understanding of technical situations

Clear use of drawings to explain situations/points

Justification of solutions suggested

Technical knowledge (less important if can demonstrate rapid learning and comprehension)

Willingness to learn continuously (travel to Germany for 2 months training)
