Client:

The client is a US firm which created the most popular streaming software platform for delivering video, music and casual games to the TV.

Job Location:

Shanghai, China

Salary:

Competitive Salary (depending on experience)

Director

Travelling:

Up to 70%

Recruitment process:

+ Telephone interviews

+ Face-to-face interviews

Responsibilities:

?Represent company to support manufacture partners on their hardware and software needs

?Empower and guide partners with company features and manufacture development kit

?Partner closely with internal hardware and firmware development teams

?Assist in hardware and software certifications, life tests, and manufacture production

?Troubleshoot issues down to the root cause and provide detailed bug reports

?Collect feedback and requirements from partners, submit action items to internal teams

?Help qualifying partners’ new board, production, second sourced components

?Assist internal teams to work with SoC and module provider related issues when needed

Requirements:

?6+ years’ experience in hardware and software development with manufacturing knowledge to assist in debugging potential hardware or manufacturing issues

?Must have experience with Digital TV, Smart TV, IP STB, home networking functionality, Wi-Fi and audio / video streaming; Audio / Video codecs (HLS, MP 4, MKV, smooth streaming, etc…)

?Experience with Linux, EJTAG, video/audio generator, logical analyzer, serial logging.

?This position requires good understanding of the hardware design, software development lifecycle (SDLC), experience with a variety of bug tracking system (Bugzilla, JIRA, etc)

?Up to 70% domestic and international travel

?Fluent English is required for reading, writing, and speaking.

?Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
