LOCATION: SHENZHEN or SHANGHAI

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

§ Identify and develop high quality, low cost suppliers within the Asia region and create references for Quality and Cost and Service Level.

§ Streamline the sourcing procedure to make sure sourcing project on time complete.

§ Manages negotiations and agreements (purchasing, quality, logistics, etc.) ensuring the correct cost levels are maintained during the whole life cycle.

§ Contribute to supplier assessment and supplier performance improvement.

§ Ensure new supplier(s) are implementing the NWL quality systems/CDI Process

§ Work with and optimize supply base to ensure consistent product quality and service to customers – monitor and audit their processes

§ Work with product development teams to identify lower cost alternative parts or new designs.

§ Work with OPEX team on VA/VE projects and identify opportunities to improve suppliers’ efficiency and reduce waste.

Identify new technologies and products available in Asia with better cost position than other countries

RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Solve Supply issue
? Manage Supplier Performance
? Execute RFx’s
? Qualify supplier for new products
? Obtain and evaluate samples for new products
? Manage trail for new products
? Visit suppliers for business reviews, development session etc.
? Mitigate potential cost increase

REQUIREMENTS:

Engineering Bachelor is must
Around 10 years working experience in industrial products Sourcing
Prefer metal, plastic, electrical background
