Senior signal integrity engineer - 750590

Description

In this position, you will be responsible for the signal integrity design support for the next generation server board and system product based on Intel Xeon Processor and chipsets.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Understanding and interpreting the board level Signal Integrity (SI) modeling and guidelines
- Generate design rule to guide routing design
- Interacting cross function team for ensuring the proper implementation of SI for new bus technologies such as QPI, DDR2/DDR3, PCIe, SATA/SAS, and system SI for clocks, power, and others
- Review layout and decide GO/No-GO
- Conducting SI simulations and timing analysis, and correlating simulations with system measurements
- work closely with ODM for successful project release

Qualifications

You should possess a Master's degree in Electronics, Electromagnetic, and/or Signal Processing with at least two years of relevant experience, or a Ph.D. with relevant experience. Additional qualifications include:
- Strong knowledge of electric circuits
- Solid fundamental knowledge of transmission line theory and high-speed Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) design, Knowledge of board stackup, trace geometries, and impact on SI
- Experience with the time domain and frequency domain simulation methodologies and the tools.
- HSPICE*, IBIS*, Verilog* modeling experience
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as TDR*, VNA*, digital oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters
- A team player with good oral and written communication skills, ability to work in cross-functional team.
