Requirements:
- College degree, better major in garment / yarn constructions.
- 5-8 years relevant experience.
- Sound experience in dealing with USA market and offshore production monitoring.
- Sound technical knowledge in garment / yarn constructions, fabric development, washing etc. in the respective product areas up to a level.
- Able to assess production comments / quality and make sound decisions on alternatives.
- Good knowledge of garment quota and product costing.
- Experience in sourcing of fabric, trims and accessories.
- Able to negotiate and maintain rapport with vendors.
- A team player, able to anticipate, prioritize, delegate, monitor work activities.
- Able to diagnose problems, consider in different perspectives and make objective decisions considering various alternatives.
- Ability to travel 20% of time, including on short notice.
- Smart, flexible, able to work under pressure, self motivated with initiatives.
- Good command of English, computer literate.

Job Responsibilities:
- Stitch / print / wash / mixed media development mockup / samples follow up based on brand's request initiate yarn sourcing basing on brand's request, trend and market intelligence.
- Yarn lead time negotiation with mills.
- Yarn cost concept, benchmarking and fact based negotiation.
- Review yarn development test, work with tech to present options / solutions to brand.
- Orchestrate of yarn development, may need to cover sample yarn ordering and support subordinate to closely monitor on time sample yarn delivery to vendors.
- Solicit feedback from vendor management teams to monitor mills' performance in delivery and quality to impact next season's development.
- Support yarn strategy implementation.
- People management, ensure the task performance of junior is adequate and establish a good work relationship with the junior.
