SUMMARY:
The manager is responsible to develop and implement a range of marketing initiatives to meet regional objectives, including engagement and involvement in sales front-line activities with all product lines. In addition, the manager is responsible for implementing key communication messages in all marketing activities following corporate guidelines. Manager is responsible overall coordination, rationalization, and oversight of APAC meetings/events, including tradeshows, customer events, and road shows, as well as planning and executing sales meetings, annual kickoffs and "president club" events. Manager will manage the budget and deploy the appropriate marketing resources to ensure successful accomplishment of key brand and product line priorities.

Responsibilities include:
Engage sales force in all product lines for front-line marketing efforts
Develop a prioritization model for delivering marketing support to highest priority sales teams based on available resources.
Develop high impact messaging and customized presentation tools to address specific customer needs and differentiate from competition
Provide range of tools, including collateral material, web, case studies, presentations, demo units, videos, and other material to the sales force
Add marketing point of view and expertise related to communications strategies through the involvement in customer meetings
Maintain competitive database on products, pricing, market activities, etc, and develop a process to communicate them with sales force.
Execute communication strategies
Implement product line communication platform through series of creative communication vehicles
Align APAC communication efforts and identify ways in which efficiencies can be gained through increased synergy
Develop tools that ensure consistent delivery of key corporate and product line messages
Manage productivity of all marketing initiatives; Evaluate tactic and ROI
Monitor, measure and report on effectiveness of all initiatives
Enhance brand awareness within industry through trade events
Collaborate with product line leadership to support the clear communication of value at all industry tradeshows. Ensure effective and notable presence through creative and innovative communication vehicles that create ROI.
Identify industry speaking opportunities and align appropriate experts that can deliver supportive keynote presentations.
Plan, manage and execute roadshows as needed, including logistics, messaging, product demos, invitations, and all communication vehicles to ensure a memorable and positive customer experience.
Plan, manage and execute selected customer events ensuring CKP and product lines are well represented and key messages delivered
Manage and execute internal events
Manage and or develop teams to support all product line sales meetings, including logistics, theme, tools, and other initiatives that help take the meeting from good to great.
Plan, manage and execute all details of annual kickoff events. Coordinate with other regions to ensure consistent messaging and themes on a global level. Share best practices and resources as needed.
Plan, manage and execute "President Club" events, including all communications to winners, logistics, gifts, and extras that make it a memorable and rewarding event.
Manage and develop Front-Line Marketing team
Lead by example. Institute "fast and good" mentality. Earn reputation as a value-provider to all internal stakeholders.
Assign roles and tasks based on individual strengths. Focus on strengths to further develop and enhance for each individual.
Develop strong bench-strength with emphasis on collaboration and teamwork.
Manage outside agencies, consultants, production vendors and other support personnel to provide efficient and effective outputs.
Effectively manage APAC marketing budget
Maintain budget and status reports and regularly communicate with key stakeholders
Invest in areas that provide the best return on investment - both tactically and strategically.
Develop targeted campaigns by vertical market, geography, product solution, opportunities, etc


Candidate Profile
10+ years of front-line marketing experience
College graduate with degrees in marketing, communications, or similar
Multi-disciplinary experience in all aspects of marketing and sales support
5+ years of experience in retail industry or agency preferred
Professional demeanor; earns trust of sales teams and executive management
Experience in fast-paced entrepreneurial organizations
Resourceful, adaptable, reliable, and efficient approach to problem solving
Demonstrable creative aptitude, strong vision and sound judgment
Fluent in English - excellent written and spoken skills
