职位描述

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
? Provide leadership, direction and management to attain Plant and Company goals for EHS, production, quality, procurement cost and delivery.
? Coach, supervise, and evaluate the work performance of assigned personnel; which may be accomplished through the management of supervisors and group leaders. Fosters positive environment and working relationships, and responds proactively to performance concerns; discipline; employee complaints, concerns or problems; and other employee relation matters. Ensures consistency in the application of Company policies and procedures.
? Establish and direct and implement policies and procedures to appropriate span of control.
? Ensures initial and on-going training for personnel related to job duties and performance expectations, job processes, equipment, and Plant safety and environmental program.
? Ensures compliance with the overall health and safety program for the plant in conformance with company policies, local and national regulations.
? Monitors and analyzes Plant manufacturing practices, and recommends and implements cost reduction/efficiency improvement programs as needed. Ensures that both the manufacturing capacity and product development initiatives are tightly aligned with the current needs and future growth potential. Assist in the commercialization of new products and processes.
? Implements materials management systems and controls in order to ensure best cost and services. These include purchasing, sourcing, price and component supply, and outsourcing of functions.
? Establish goals and budgets for all operating departments and monitor overall performance against annual plans. Coordinate matters related to personnel issues, control of expenses and profitability enhancement, production, delivery, quality, and the development of annual budgets and capital expenditure programs.
? Work with the management team to ensure that the facilities achieves the highest possible level of return on assets and investment
? Execute the business and operations plans to achieve revenue, profit and performance targets.
? Aid in specifying or approval for the purchase, installation and operation of new process equipment
? Directs the overall facility and grounds maintenance program that includes focus on reliability and mechanical integrity improvements. Establishes and maintains adequate security regulations and procedures in order to protect physical assets of the plant and employee property from fire, theft, sabotages or other situations that endanger the well-being of employees or facilities and equipment.
? Provides assistance with special projects as needed.
? Maintains knowledge of current trends in the field; and attends appropriate training programs to remain current on manufacturing, health and safety issues.
? Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience Requirements:
? Must have the ability to speak, read and write English.
? Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and influence many levels of an organization.
? Computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft products and ERP software, required. Advanced forecasting software experience a plus.
? A thorough understanding of MRP principles and lean manufacturing concepts
? Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred or technical related field preferred.
? Ten years experience in a Plant/manufacturing operations management.
? Familiarity with local and national health and safety regulations.
? Management experience in the Chemical industry preferred.
