Program Manager

In this position, the Program Manager will provide in-country support for the 3rd Party Product Program Management Team located in Milpitas, CA USA in managing and driving execution of Design and Operational activities of multiple products through their Life Cycle. This individual will be responsible to ensure that deliverables are aligned with the integrated schedules and the Program Management owner in Milpitas and that the infrastructure to communicate and collaborate efficiently and effectively is established and continuously improved. Specific responsibilities include driving execution of Design and Production Development schedules, managing BOM integrity through ECO management, create, coordinate and drive new product build requests/activity with factories located in China and coordinate retail fulfillment activities by managing certain aspects of material readiness at the factories and retail fulfillment sites.

In this position, the individual will manage and drive the in-country execution of integrated program schedules; escalating key issues and present options for resolution to the cross-functional executive teams. He/she will support the Development and Operations teams in planning, prioritizing and executing product qualification and successful product ramps. In addition, this individual will assist the product line PMO team in making high level strategic decisions thorough detailed analyses and material preparations, additional analysis and projects will include capacity analysis, business process optimization, and cost reduction efforts. This individual will need to be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and interact with a number of different groups and levels of people, both internally and externally.

The ideal candidate will have a BA or BS degree or applicable experience and a minimum of 5 years of related experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Planning or other applicable Operational fields. This individual must have a proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment, Self-motivated and self-directed. He/she must have demonstrated ability to work well with people, strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, the ability to coordinate priorities and initiatives and excellent planning and problem solving skills with the ability to work in a fast paced and limited resource environment. The position also requires excellent written and oral communication skills, strong analytical and organizational skills, desire and ability to perform quantitative analyses in addition to contribute to ongoing improvements in existing processes and procedures within an ISO 9000 quality system. Specific experience with SAP, Microsoft Excel, Project and Agile preferred to support analyses and clearly communicate ideas.
