Minco is a global provider of heaters, flex circuits, sensors and instruments for advanced applications. Its expert engineering services help customers plan and integrate Minco components into their products, delivering proven quality and performance in thousands of applications worldwide.
Position Summary: Setting up Engineering Center that provides technical design and drawings for global business units. Proactively develops and maintains a team of high﹑erforming engineers and continually seeks innovative methods for improving team performance.
Responsibilities
? Serves as a leader to staff to include assigning and monitoring work and providing direction.
? Builds engineering center structure to scale and grow with the strategy of the company.
? Coordinates communication and activities with Minco US departments to ensure global customer needs and questions are addressed, and to achieve engineering efficiency, quality, and output.
? Leads smaller support teams and participates in cross-functional continuous improvement or customer projects to troubleshoot problems, product and documentation flow, and other improvement efforts; initiates projects and reviews as necessary.
? Builds KPI and manage staff performance timely.
? Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
?Bachelor’s degree in Thermal Solutions or Mechanical Engineering or similar.
?6-10 years working experience with designing or using custom electronic components or subsystems in end-use products for heat transfer and thermal system design.
?Above 3 years manager experience for designing heater or sensor related products.
?Prior experience working for an International Manufacturing company with presence in China.
?Three plus years using Solidworks, ProE, or similar 3D CAD software.
?Fluent in English
