About Our Client
Focusing on precision processing machinery, my client is a multinational European company with operations in 4 continents. Entering the Chinese market in 2005, my client has grasped a large market share within the last 9 years and built up good reputation. With revenue of around 100 Million RMB, they are under very rapid growth and established a joint venture in Tianjin in 2013. They are currently looking for qualified candidates to hold their General Manager position in Tianjin to oversee the entire P&L of their Northern China operations.

Job Description

• Deploy and lead operational business related to strategy and profit plan. Alignment of division goal, expectations to the possibilities of the company


• Ensure all systems and processes follow all local standards and regulations (both government and group)


• Ensure a safe work environment for all employees, including environmental and health compliance


• Ensure customer’s orders and company products are produced and delivered in accordance with planned schedules, job specifications, established quality standards and planned growth and profit objectives.


• Monitor overall plant performance and ensure all maintenance and capital assets are being maintained and utilized effectively. Lead operation and performance improvement initiatives.


• Oversee the development of new products with the R&D team that meets international standards.


• Utilize experience in lean manufacturing to find and remove inefficiencies and waste, ensure the most efficient use of all capital employed (both human capital and plant equipment capital).

The Successful Applicant

• University degree in engineering field


• Experience in running a full P&L in China.


• 10 years above experiences in senior management roles in a manufacturing facility.


• Experience in foreign mechanical manufacturing multinational company and in non-standard design & product plant is preferred.


• Strong leadership, analytical and decision-making skills, strong team building and advanced coaching skills.


• Ability to influence and work within organization, ability to drive change and continuous improvement.


• Good communication and presentation skills both in Chinese and English, with the ability to manage internal and external relationships.
