Accountability

The Purchasing Responsible is accountable to:

？ Coordinate so that agreed buying and market strategy are executed and optimized for the section/department

？ Supervise and follow-up to secure global best buy, global best in-price and global on-time delivery

？ Work closely with Head of Purchasing to develop, analyze and follow up the production market capability with support from the team

？ Support to grow the individuals in the team

Main Responsibilities

？ Work closely with the team to ensure that the components and products are developed and produced at the right market, to secure best product and best buy

？ Secure preseason and strategy process on section/department level

？ Drive component & product developments and quotations according to set strategy short and long term

？ Create and Secure in-price competition globally

？ Support the team in evaluating and selecting the best global deal to be sent to the buyer Seek knowledge about production markets capability, skill & capacity and make constant risk and consequence analysis for your section/department

？ Together with the team, work proactively to secure maintained, or shorten global lead time according to strategy

？ Support the Head of Purchasing in providing insight and giving suggestions on how to solve problems in production

？ Create a good communication with Buying Office and Supply Chain organization in a clear and efficient way

？ Identify possible opportunities on tactical & operational level to drive strategies

Education and Experience requirements

？ Education preferably in textile or business

？ Working with the different products, components & markets

？ Preferably minimum 5 years of relevant experience

？ Preferably minimum 2 years of experience in merchandising procedure, quotation; follow up and development

？ Preferably experience from similar position in Supply Chain and/or Buying Office

？ Preferably experience from working in global role, with various stakeholders
