Accountability

The Development Responsible is accountable to:

？ Set and execute the global product and component development strategy based on the buying strategy

？ Provide Supply Chain and Global Purchasing Organization with necessary information based on customer, section trends and developments

？ Secure equal product globally based on customer and concept

？ Identify and coordinate the competence need for market development for the concept

Main Responsibilities

？ Develop, analyze and follow up the production markets capabilities based on customer and concept together with Head of Purchasing and Development Coordinator.

？ Enable new opportunities, based on the concept information & trends, with teams in Global Purchasing Organization and Supply Chain

？ Continuously provide feedback and support with solutions, to concerned team in production markets

？ Support with customer/concept appropriate options on product and components in development and quotation stage based on purpose of development

？ Seek knowledge from Buying Office team about what the concept/customer wants and what Supply Chain needs to support and understand the needs

？ Secure that components and products are developed and produced in the right market to secure best product and best buy

？ Make risk assessment in development stage to take necessary actions to reach the best product

Education and Experience requirements

？ Education preferably in textile

？ Experience in product development process

？ Preferably 4 – 5 years of relevant experience

Knowledge and Skills requirements

？ Excellent communication skills

？ Excellent written and spoken English

？ Strong knowledge about the customer & concept

？ Knowledge about different product types

？ Constantly updated about trends, strong fashion sense
