The Purchasing Merchandiser is accountable for

Drive the development and quotation processes according to the set strategy.
Driving all processes from development to OFU, including samples, prices and deadlines.
Secure global best buy, in-price and on time delivery
Always look for new opportunities, suggest alternatives and work proactively in order to secure best price, quality and lead time
Analyze the requests
Distribute developments/quotations to the most suitable PO according to strategy set in cooperation with Purchasing Responsible
Drive and follow up the developments of components /products according to request.
Send best options to buyer to review and comment
Secure hand over process with full package to PO when market choice is confirmed
Follow up order status
Provide feedback to markets about dropped developments & quotations
Seek knowledge about production market capability, skills and capacity and make constant risk analysis

Education and Professional Knowledge
Education preferably in textile or business
Have good knowledge about production markets concerning price ,quality ,capacity ,capabilities and lead times
Have knowledge about concept /customer
Have strong knowledge of BO & PO set up, product development & purchasing process, working method and timeline
Strong price knowledge
