JOB TITLE: Senior R&D Technologist
JOB LOCATION: Shanghai

Job Responsibilities:

· Middle level of category-specific processing expertise.
· Process Development Engineer on global hair projects.
· Effective planning to enable delivery of high quality prototypes for testing on humans.
· Competent in application of best practices in technology delivery and transfer (Project Execution, Early Product Management, Process Specifications, Process Validation, SIMAS).
· Design and execution of pilot plant experiments.
· Supervision and reporting of Main Plant Trials.
· Monitor Process Engineering field for improvements in designs, new technologies, training programmes etc.
· Operate according to procedures, equipment and ways of working in line with the Unilever frameworks, standards and policies (SHE, SEAC etc)

Job Requirements:

1. Academic background in Chemical Engineering / Technology is optimal. Bachelor degree is minimum requirement.
2. Discovery, Design, Deploy and Supply Chain role experience in or outside of Unilever are all desirable.
3. Previous roles in development, engineering design and commissioning. Processing roles in other categories.
4. Proficiency in English and Chinese (both written & spoken).
