职位描述

Major Duties/Responsibilities: Drive excellent execution of long term sales strategy as well as annual plan, and ensure compliance and internal controls

  1. Actively participate in the sales strategy and plan deployment in region. Provide financial leadership for development as well as execution/delivery of sales annual operating plan and strategic plan at the regional sales level. Take initiatives to continuosly improve the planning process in the field.
  2. Enable development of smart KPIs for field sales includes volume/ sales/ trade promotion and get those aligned and implemented throughout the region.
  3. Ensure sales forecasting accuracy on various measures, including volumes/gross sales, distribution, trade promotions, sales SGA, RD&A, cash flows, etc.
  4. Participate in the distributor assessment program and vetting processes to consistently identify and engage distributors that are commercially and operationally capable, financially resourced and regulatory compliant.
  5. Conduct the distributor contract review from control and finance perspective to ensure there is no violation of company policy and guidelines.
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant company SOPs and internal control requirements


Trade Promotion planning, budgeting, tracking, claims management and compliance to TP related SOPs

  1. Ensure/drive full compliance of TP SOP by field sales and distributors.
  2. Work closely with field sales for effective and efficient planning and budgeting for TP – timely raising of promotion requests, follow the recommended processes and guidelines on creation of promotion requests, regular review of open promotion requests and sales deals, etc
  3. Ensure effective management of TP Budgets. Deep involvement in daily TP tool management, driving its efficient management and use.
  4. Support the month-end TP accrual process to improve its accuracy and timeliness
  5. Drive timely raising of TP claims by distributors with the right/qualified documentation as laid out in the SOP
  6. Provide coaching to field sales on the TP guidelines and continuously communicate with sales and customers on TP claim procedure and status.


Effective and Efficient Sales Finance reporting and analysis in Region

Deep understanding of sales operations and business details by brand/ by channel/ by TP spending type in field.
  • Conduct monthly field business review, perform cause of change analysis on volume/gross revenue and TP. Report significant deviations and recommend remedial actions to ensure the preset KPI for sales region is delivered.
  • Collect field sales related data; provide financial analysis (on TP, KA management, Profitability, Commercial/tax business appraisal etc.) and advice to support/ optimize daily sales operation.
  • Enable regular tracking, monitoring and reporting of distributor and retailer inventory.
  • Other ad hoc project and assignments.

  • Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required:

    1. Knowledge/ability to work within computerized accounting systems (SAP) and foreign accounting software.
    2. Knowledge of general accounting, tax and internal control principles
    3. Knowledge of FMCG sales model, such as NKA operation, distribution coverage model and DSR management system.
    4. Knowledge and experience of financial analysis skills.
    5. Ability to meet deadlines; work under pressure and product accurate results
    6. Good communication skills
    7. Personal computer skills (Excel, Word, etc.)
    8. Good at oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English

    Competencies:

    1. With team-work, can-do attitude, ability to meet tight deadlines, work under pressure and product accurate results
    2. Excellent financial skills; problem solving, sales & marketing execution and presentation ability, capable to think and act innovatively, proactively and independently with minimal supervision or guidance.
    3. Effective oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English.
