Green Mountain Electrical Appliances Technical Consulting (SHENZHEN) Company Limited is seeking a Quality Manager to join our high-performing technical team newly established in Asia. As Quality Manager, you will apply your superior attention to detail, industry knowledge, and experience to ensure our products meet our industry-leading standards. In this role, you will manage the quality team to ensure that quality objectives are met and support the Engineering functions to meet their expectations. You will also support the Sr. Director, Quality - Asia in the planning of quality objectives and execution of long/short term actions.



This position requires constant communication with the primary Contract Manufacturers and component suppliers located throughout Asia, and with all members of the Quality and Engineering teams of the Keurig located in Boston, USA.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities


· Define quality strategic and execution plans for specific Contract Manufacturers


· Lead and direct all activities of the supplier quality staff


· Ensure proper execution of new product development and product transfer


· Assist suppliers to develop and maintain quality assurance system


· Plan and execute quality control and inspection


· Assure compliance to quality system and product safety requirements


· Assist team members to develop competence to meet current and future task requirements


· Support Quality, Engineering, and other corporate functions in achieving their objectives


· Complete other projects assigned as needed


· Create reports, perform administrative functions and present status to senior leadership as required.


· Identify and implement productivity projects at supplier base to achieve cost saving and quality improvement


· Continuously drive change at supplier base to strengthen and lean processes


· Provide training to Internal/External teams and suppliers



Qualifications


· Minimum 7 years of experience in Manufacturing/Quality/Engineering management


· Bachelor degree in Science and Engineering discipline


· Master degree in Science and Engineering discipline or equivalent


· Extensive experience in design, manufacturing, and/or quality assurance of electrical products, particularly home use electrical products


· Experience in implementing Quality Management System (ISO 9001, ISO 16949, ISO 13485, etc.) and Social Responsibility and/or Environmental Management System (ISO 14000, SA 8000, etc.)


· Application of quality tools (FMEA, SPE, DOE, PPAP, etc.)


· Problem solving and failure analysis


· Product safety regulations (consumer products and electrical products) (UL, NSF, FDA, IEC, EN, et)


· Customer service, warranty, and/or return management


· Ability to work and manage colleagues with diverse ethnical and cultural background


· Team player, results oriented and open minded


· Fluent in English and Chinese languages (written and spoken)


· Presentation and negotiation


· Team spirit and cooperation


· Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem solving skills


· Strong leadership with business acumen and the ability to lead change
