职位描述
Job Summary:
This employee will be responsible for overseeing on site QA responsibilities at each Partner factory in Ningbo. Travel to additional Factory locations within China as requested
Responsibility: (Essential Functions, other duties may be assigned)
- Responsible for overseeing Burton mandated IQC procedures and documenting results to ensure that materials and components from sub-suppliers meet Burton’s specifications.
- Responsible for overseeing In-Process, Finished Goods, and First Article Verification inspections to ensure that products meet Burton Quality Standards at each checkpoint. This includes quality and inspections spec and measurement verification.
- Responsible for working with apparel factories to assure that all processes mandated by Burton for the construction of Burton products are followed.
- Responsible for submitting inspection reports after each factory-level inspection.
- Responsible for submitting monthly reports, which include an overview of factory performance and product quality,
- Responsible for regularly maintaining a running production timeline.
- Responsible for maintaining an Issue Tracker and working with vendors to create Corrective Action Plans when issues arise.
- Responsible for collaborating with Vendor Management by Monitoring WIP and updating Apparel team with delays and issues.
- Responsible for auditing factories for material and finished good storage, scrapping, and general Burton specified compliance.
- Responsible for arranging product testing when requested.
Requirement:
- 3 years college or Bachelor’s degree.
- 2-3 years’ experience in a related QA field.
- 3-5 years pattern making/and or fabric measuring experience.
- Strong textile knowledge, specifically knits and wovens.
- Ability to read, writes, and communicates effectively in English and Chinese.
- Basic computer skills in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time during peak season.
- Outgoing, confident and diplomatic disposition. Initiative, good problem solving ability, cooperation and teamwork spirit
