This position will be base in Dongguan in Guangdong province

Job Purpose:
Working closely in conjunction with the UK technical team to ensure that all production satisfies UK expectations: With accountability from Black Seal through pre-production and inspection (both in-line and end-of-line) and Gold Sealing, ensuring suppliers' understand the concepts and requirements of newly-developed products.

To deliver continuous improvement in the technical capability and process control of factories to ensure the quality of products manufactured meets or exceeds the Next customers'expectations.

Responsibility:
-Assist and support the Technical Manager
-Timely communication with Next UK Technical and Buying teams regarding procedural, technical and factory issues
-Undertake on-site product approval (sealing) and production inspection (in-line and end-of-line) to agreed specifications and standards
-Ensure all products meet quality, legal and safety requirements, including approval of product test reports
-Understand and interpret the requirements of Next UK
-Assist new and established suppliers to understand Next requirements and information received from UK.
Advising how to incorporate this into sample development and production
-Improve quality standards and ensure production consistently meets the standards and specifications
agreed with the UK
-To perform, monitor and implement the Next Technical Factory Evaluation according to the Next protocol,
including corrective action plan implementation with the factories

Knowledge/Skills and experience required:
-College in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management or equivalent
-More than 5 years experience in quality management in home furniture,
preferably with multinational buying or trading office
-In-depth knowledge of European product safety standards, regulations and testing requirements.
-Exposure and knowledge in factory audit and inspection
-Diligent, hands-on approach with great problem solving and technical skills
-Excellent interpersonal communication skills
-Good written and spoken English
