Function:
Assist in the development, planning, and analysis of processes for manufacture of new products via PACE protocols. Serve the analysis needs of the Process Engineering Group through costing, capital, and capacity projections. Provide information for and assist in the preparation of financial justifications for new products in development and product changes or extensions. The engineer will use a variety of existing tools and develop new tools as needed.

Qualifications:

1. A BS in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Materials Engineering is desirable. Related degrees and/or experience will be given consideration.

2. Strong interpersonal skills required to interface effectively with persons in a wide range of job functions globally.

3. Very strong problem solving and logical reasoning skills. Tenacity and a strong inclination toward order, consistency, and detail are helpful as well. Ability to present information in a simplified but logical form to managers and supervisors.

4. Technical knowledge of Stamping, Plating, Molding, Assembly and related technologies. Knowledge of quality programs such as FMEA, SPC, Fishbone Analysis, and Pareto Charts used to drive quality and cost improvements.

5. Demonstrated ability to accept accountability and drive business directed activities with minimal supervision.

6. Experience with Microsoft Word, Project, and PowerPoint are required. Strong experience with Microsoft Excel is preferred.
