Position:Restricted Substance & CPSIA Auditor & Administrator


Main Purpose:
? To carry out the Administrational function for the Restricted Substance and cooperate with source factories, China development team, CCNA team, External test labs, and the UK QA team, to ensure that we monitor and correctly identify potential risk levels against Clarks Brand Restricted Substance policy and actively contribute towards maintaining and reducing risk substance levels across all genders.

? To carry out the Administrational function for the CPSIA practice and cooperate with source factories, China development team, CCNA team, External test labs, and the UK QA team, to ensure that we monitor and correctly identify potential risk levels against the latest CPSIA registration and actively contribute towards maintaining and reducing lead contamination levels for Children US exports styles.

Essential Knowledge:
? Thorough knowledge of Clarks Restricted Substance policy and its practice rule
? Thorough knowledge of CPSIA legislation and its practice rule
? Extensive knowledge of variation of footwear materials and components and how they apply to footwear constructions and footwear manufacturing processes
? Fluent in oral and written English
? A knowledge of the keyboard, functions of a computer and major office software

Successful Experience:
? Some knowledge and/or experience of Restricted Substance and/or CPSIA administration work
? Some knowledge and/or experience of laboratory work
? Qualifications and/or interest in science subjects
? Technical project work experience, not necessarily footwear related
? Some experience of footwear manufacturing or related industry would be beneficial
? Working as part of a team
