Currently PING Golf Shenzhen Zhongshan, China branch requires dedicated staff to lend support and mentorship to PING hard good suppliers in China to augment PING development/production quality and delivery expectations. An increase in PING’s supply chain base via expansion within China support need for additional onsite staffing in support of PING RFT and OTIF PO commitments based in Zhongshan, China. The role as requested will be quality focused with emphasis on gage ID, ongoing correlation, and calibration, with inclusion of bias and measurement error between PING and supplier where applicable. The role in question will also focus on final finish inspections via the establishment of PING dedicated final finish inspection services within T1’s.
Key performance metrics in support of the PING China Quality Manager role will be:
1. China Quality Scorecard – Improvement of 2.0% tied to Supplier Quality Performance Metrics in 2014 vs. 2013.
2. China Del Scorecard – Improvement of 2.0% as tied to Supplier Delivery Performance Metrics in 2014 vs. 2013.
3. China Reduction of 10% in # of MRB’S from PING to VN Suppliers in 2014 vs. 2013.
Job Duties & Wages: Ref Labor Agreement
? Full time role to serve as PING Quality lead in China supporting gage and final finish alignments while providing focus on PING Quality Control related matters, with direct feedback and influence at the factory level, ensuring all aspects of gage alignment processes are complete to support development and production processes that impact PING products to meet PING PRDS, design intent and CAD models;
? Work closely with other PING specialists, including: T1's/T2’s, Quality Control, intermediates, Engineers responsible for Design, Project and Process; Supplier Development, FOM’s, Procurement, on production schedules; and operating staff at the factory level to drive positive PING scorecard results (noting the role plays a role in dissecting PING scorecard review sessions at the factory level).
? Work closely with FOM’s, T1 and T2 suppliers, PING Design, FOM’s and Project Engineers, Materials and SD teams to monitor and improve efficiency and output of PING products through the factory ~ with suggested data driven resolutions;
? Provide leadership and support tied to final finish inspections and CoC alignment on par with PING PRDS expectations. Ensure quality related feedback flow from final finish inspection area to processes that achieve optimum level of capability, to the right rate and quality of output, in order to meet supply needs;
? Participate in weekly factory based Executive Operations meetings to track PING PO commitments.
? Participate in supplier scorecard reviews with supplier Exec Mgt. team and PING FOM’s.
? Communicate findings tied to final finish inspection results and RTV’s to inline T1 and PING personnel.
? Support future PING developmental initiatives within T1/T2’s – FMEA’s and high RPN ID and corrective management and or reduction of high RPN’s.
? Provide ongoing feedback to direct Supervisor as related to PING CoC fulfillment and ongoing issue status and resolution. Provide proactive mentorship and support to suppliers thru FOM’s.
? Support the alignment of Gage and Operator bias and measurement error between suppliers and PING throughout development and final finish inspections – leading to sustaining PRDS requirements. Team with PING USA and PING FOM’s tied to Operator and Inspector gage alignments, etc …
? Lead efforts tied to final finish CoC compliance while making certain feedback from CoC inspections flow directly to PING USA via Inspection Register and supplier inspection personnel to support corrective actions.
? Other duties related to Quality Control, Process and Design Engineering, FOM’s and Supplier Development activities in Asia as directed by the General Manager, PING Hong Kong Ltd., pursuant to strategy and mission set forth by the Director of Quality.
