ABOUT DIRECT HR:
DIRECT HR IS A PREMIUM CHINA-FOCUSED RECRUITMENT FIRM SPECIALIZED IN SUPPORTING LEADING EUROPEAN, AMERICAN AND CHINESE EMPLOYERS WITH THEIR TALENT ACQUISITION IN CHINA.
Client:
A globally present company acting as 1st tier supplier for the automotive industry, supplying thermal systems, such as engine cooling system.
Salary:
Competitive Salary (depending on experience)

Foshan, Guangdong Province,China
Reporting to:
General Manager
Recruitment process:
+ Telephone interviews
+ Face-to-face interviews
Responsibilities:
Manage, plan, and provide the systems, technical services, and testing support necessary to build and ship product that is 100% compliant with the specifications and intent of the customer's requirements. Ensure that the policies and principles of TS16949 & QS-9000 are fully implemented and maintained. Ensure that the Quality function is compliant with company's requirements. Develop and execute training programs designed to improve plant Team Member problem solving skills.
+ Responsible for implementing and maintaining the Quality System to QS9000 & TS16949 standards
+ Responsible for the overall management of the Quality Assurance Control and Testing functions for the facility
+ Direct all activities regarding quality assurance issues
+ Develop and implement quality assurance policies and practices, which ensure compliance with corporate directives and customer requirements
+ Manage and develop improvement programs for process capability, document and process compliance, customer returns, product performance, design and durability
+ Continually search for more effective ways to build in and control quality
+ Develop programs to ensure continued development of Quality Department Team Members
+ Direct, supervise and monitor the daily activities of the Advance Quality Planning and Receiving Inspection Groups
+ Apply 5 axes in his/her domain
+ Finish the other missions assigned by department manager
+ Obey HSSE rules and regulations, pay attention to safety and any accident or incident related to HSSE found, report immediately to N+1
+ Submit and implement improvement proposals
Requirements:
+ Mechanical aptitude
+ Engineering & quality background
+ 7-10 years experience in Automotive Quality with demonstrated history of progressive levels of responsibility
+ Mechanical aptitude and thorough understanding of ISO9000/TS16949 series requirements
+ Proven management and problem solving skills
+ Ability to interact with customers, vendors, and all levels within the Valeo organization
+ Thorough understanding of Quality System to QS9000 & TS16949 standards
+ Practical application of 5 axes in his/her domain
+ Knowledge of 5S
+ HSSE rules and regulations
+ Proven management and problem solving skills
+ Ability to interact with customers, vendors, and all levels within the Valeo organization
+ Speak fluent Chinese Mandarin and English
+ Proactive and willing to adjust to the working environment and changes of internal system
