Job Title: NTD Finance Controller

Reports to (hierarchical): NTD General Manager
Reports to (functional): DCN CFO
Direct reports: 5

Job Summary (Main responsibilities)
？ Overall responsibility of NTD Finance / Accounting Department
？ Timely & accurately provides internal & external reports; propose performance improvement suggestions and implement cost saving initiatives
？ To ensure compliances (legal, tax, accounting/GAAP etc), and ensure proper internal control system is in place
？ Coordinate the overall budget process, analyze company actual biz performance (Vs Budget) and propose measures for performance improvement
？ Be a business partner to local GM and other functional heads by providing efficient and effective functional support to internal customers
Core Tasks
？ Establish proper accounting procedures / system in place to ensure timely and accurate internal and external reporting
？ To coordinate the proper setup of cost centers / profit center in ERP
？ Study the current ERP System and the business practice/requirements in order to optimize the configuration of the system
？ To ensure a standard costing is properly setup, major variances are analyzed & explained, improvement opportunities identified and corrective actions proposed for implementation and then follow-up
？ To ensure a proper internal control system is in place, and the company is conducting biz with compliance to all legal/regulatory requirements.
？ Making sure there are proper accruals / provisions for expenses & liabilities before period-end closing.
？ Takes leading role in budgeting, challenge key assumptions when necessary to ensure the data quality and submission before deadline
？ Closely monitor the business performance (KPIs) and conduct variance analysis (Vs Budget, Vs LY). propose measures for closing the gap where necessary, provide monthly management reports on time
？ To provide professional assistance in Capex projects evaluation, when Capex project is kicked off, closely monitor the actual spending and provide early warning to ensure that Capex is controlled within budget
？ Conduct balance sheet reviews and give proposals to improve the balance sheet ratios and working capital (AR, AP, Inventory) efficiency
？ Ensure the company funds are effectively / efficiently utilized
