MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :
The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for consolidation of the all inbound orders and allocate
the inbound orders among Delsey’s FTYs according to their capacity.
The incumbent will help manage the key components and longest materials to reduce the order
fulfilment cycle time.’’
Lead logistics coordinator to fulfil his/her tasks
LOGISTICS SUPERVISOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR :
Purchase orders consolidation and placement for a given or list of suppliers
Follow up of PO acknowledgments and discussions on ETDs to meet Delsey requests
Follow up of the PO actions requested by regions up to new confirmations
Follow up of the actual ship dates versus ETD from factories and actual vessel loading with forwarder.
Supervise logistics coordinator on his/her daily works.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Consolidate all inbound orders and place them with fty
Allocate the inbound orders among the Delsey FTYs
Follow up the demand forecast;
Follow up FTYs capacity trends;
Help monitor the key material supply constraints and the longest lead time materials;
Provide the necessary analysis for the order fulfilment status.
Make sure Shipments happen as committed and feedback to region
Make sure there is enough reserved vessel capacity according to ETD sat all times through the forwarder companies .
On line SOLOMON and NAVISION system update
Organize communication and feedback to the regions through reports and conf calls as per requirements.
Support logistics manager on the delivery KPIs development and seek continuous improvement.
