职位设置目的
Purpose of Position:
? To establish supplier quality strategy and to be responsible for designing, developing and implementing quality systems at CGT tolling plants in Asia.

? To lead the development of the quality strategy and responsibility for directing projects and leading continuous improvement initiatives in support of the quality strategy

? To identify and qualify potential suppliers in low cost countries (LCC) and improve their quality capability in order to facilitate supply to CGT proper

首要职责
Principal Accountabilities:
? Develop strategy for Supplier Quality
o Define components of the Supplier Management Program that fall under Quality and Supply Chain
o Conduct supplier audits
？ Collect and analyze data regarding their current systems
？ Develop plan for new systems or enhancing current systems
o Develop a communication plan that articulates successful supplier development to CGT NA, and develop congratulatory communications to our Suppliers which encourage them to implement further changes
o Develop a training plan to assist employees of supplier with the system changes; act as a coach to the plant resources and assist the plants with improving quality within the plants

? Identify and qualify LCC raw material sources and sub tolling sources to be worthy of supplying consistent and quality products to CGT proper

? Reduce the Cost of Quality in CGT Asia operations

? Minimize or eliminate quality issues for all Chinese made products during embarkation for export to NA – in order to alleviate unnecessary quality and logistics costs

? Support corporate charters that have the potential to impact quality systems, processes and procedures

? Work with the plant leadership to identify and implement opportunities to lower cost of production by improving product quality, process capability and increasing throughput through the constraints and bottlenecks – share cost savings between tolling plants and CGT

监督责任
Supervisory Responsibilities:
? Indirectly supervise quality team at each tolling plant and supplier
? Supplier Quality Engineers – number TBD
? LCC Supplier Development personnel

学历及技能要求
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
? Five (5) years of related quality and performance improvement experience in a manufacturing environment.
? Extensive experience in business process re-engineering and implementing quality systems, programs, processes and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
? Project Management experience and ability to lead strategic change programs.
? Quality systems knowledge and at least 3 years experience with ISO9000/QS9000/TS16949.
? Technical college diploma or University degree.
? Personal attributes:
? Must have excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
? Must be a self starter and possess strong ability to work independently
? Must possess strong sense of responsibility and treat this business as ones own
