PRODUCTION PLANNERS

Major Responsibilities:

· Place purchase orders on time to meet customer demand while ensuring that customer service levels at the SKU level are achieved

· Monitor inventory by maintaining model stock through placing, chasing, delaying and cancelling (PCCD) orders due to variance between forecast and actual sales

· Maintain data integrity in the system in terms of purchase orders, SKU flags and reworks

· Communicate stock issues with all stakeholders and manage their expectations in terms of availability and DIFOT

· Work closely with planning team in Australia, PBA merchandisers, Commercial Manager and Shipping team in China and AU on resolving supplier issues and escalate where appropriate

· In this role the incumbent is expected to use in-house ERP, order management and inventory optimization systems

Requirements:

· Degree or Diploma holder in Business Management, Information Management, Logistics or related is preferable

· With 4 years solid experience in sizeable multinational company, preferably in footwear/shoes industry

· Good planning and organization skills

· Very good communication skills in both of English and Mandarin

· Advanced level of Excel spreadsheet, good analytical skills and high level of comfort in working with numbers

· Understanding of supply constraints, inventory management principles, forecasting, planning, purchasing, merchandising and shipping processes and procedures

· Understanding of manufacturing processes and timelines. Those with a footwear/shoes manufacturing and/or purchasing background would be a definite advantage

· Demonstrate initiative and high level of time management skills

· Persistent attention to detail and strong sense of urgency to resolve problem

· Ability to work efficiently under pressure while handling multiple tasks, either in a team or individually

· Ability to quick learn and utilise new programs. Experience in using any planning, forecasting or purchasing software (eg. ERP/MRP) would be a definite advantage
