Responsibilities / Duties

· Oversee internal physical & mechanical test lab.

· Perform physical & mechanical tests and record the results.

· Draft reports.

· Review product and advise any safety related issues.

· Review product designs and advise appropriate tests prior to testing.

· Perform regular maintenance and calibration on mechanical testing equipment.

· Train technical staff on mechanical and physical tests and safety requirements.

· Writing and updating procedures and training material.

· Stay up-to-date on latest developments and requirements.

Experience

· Min 2 years management experience in testing lab.

· Min 5 years’ experience in toys testing; EN71 and ASTM F963.

· Experience with textile testing and advantage.

· Experienced in product testing procedures for Wal-Mart and/or Target preferred.

· Organized, self motivated and able to work independently.

· Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese communication skills.

· Computer literate; excel, word, email.

· Experience with Halloween/fancy dress costumes an advantage.

· Knowledge and experience of CNAS accreditation and set up a testing lab will be an advantage.

Based in Nanshan, Shenzhen.
