The Job:
? Manage a footwear sourcing team for different footwear categories in different tier of price range, subordinates will include Senior Merchandise Manager & Managers
? Fully responsible for serving a group of clients independently
? Lead the functions of sourcing, development and technical solutions
? Vendor base capacity planning and management
? Manage large scale purchase projections
? Material / component development, sourcing and cost negotiation
? Negotiate and assure the capability
? Claim management
? Equipment investment and amortization management
The Requirements:
? 15 years of experience in footwear industry, working with different brands or retailers
? Experience with global export
? Sound product knowledge and experienced in different kinds of footwear construction
? Expertise in factory sourcing, component sourcing
? Experience with multi-brand, multi-tier, multi-market complexity
? Knowledgeable in testing standards and regulatory requirements
? Perfect English and Spanish
