JOB TITLE: Trading Accountant
LOCATION: Shanghai

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Book keeping, including futures & derivatives reconciliation, margin injection and withdraw, CTS liability/Invoice check and approval, G/L booking, month end close, PNL reconciliation with traders, balancesheet reconciliation, cartesis reporting, budgeting, management allocation, STD reporting, intercompany reconciliation, statutory and corporate audit assistance, collecting info requested by business partners and managers, etc
2. Bridging between trading, various function experts, and stakeholders in order to provide one stop service of commodity trade flow advisory, control assurance, and risk mitigates, including facilitate PAF process, facilitate credit limit application process, review contract draft, responsible for counter party exposure reporting & mornitoring, comply with insurance requirements, address potential compliance issues of trade flow, etc.
3. Address all tax and regulation compliance issues out of daily operation to manager and relevant business team, and work with function teams to solve them, e.g. execute tax planning, comply with transfer pricing & subpart F filing requirements, comply with duty, VAT and all other local tax requirements, etc.
4. Comply with all Cargill policies and procedures, including and not limited to position management, FX management, RIM, Critical spreadsheet management, IVP, credit, external warehouse, etc.
5. Back up other team members for their product line business when they are out of office. Other ad hoc assignments from manager.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

- Habit of independent thinking, numerical sensitive, logical
- Able to work under pressure, passion to learn and fast learner
- Keen sense of priorities, enthusiasm to take ownership
- Bachelor degree in finance/accounting area or equivalent.
- Good command of Mandarin and English, oral and writing
- A minimum of total 3 years of working experiences as accounting professional in MNC or big four CPA firm auditor.
- China GAAP and finance/accounting regulations and practices.
- Knowledge of domestic trading practice, import&export practice, foreign exchange, Bank LC practice, etc.
- Knowledge of China tax, including all local tax, e.g. income tax, VAT, BT, withholding tax, stamp duty, etc.
- Control and compliance knowledge
- ERP knowledge
- Good communication & interpersonal skills
- Good MS office and presentation skill
