SUMMARY
Reports to Director of Social responsibility (Corporate), the Regional Specialist Social & Environmental Responsibility (CSR/EICC Audit) will be responsible for supporting the implementation of the Electronic Industry Code of Conduct audit strategy with focus on Asia region. This position is responsible for supporting Compliance Manager-SER (Corporate) in creating, managing and implementing regional level CSR/EICC audit programs and corrective/preventive actions systems so as to ensure compliance to EICC code of conduct, legal requirement and other requirements that Jabil subscribes to. This position is responsible for providing technical expertise in the field of EICC and corporate social responsibility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
? Responsible for plant level EICC/CSR audits, training and audit strategy implementation using relevant tools that Jabil will adopt to implement
? Responsible to track and monitor closely the corrective and preventive actions from all plant-level EICC/CSR audits and provide guidance to plant to complete the actions effectively and efficiently.
? Identify and report to Compliance Manager-SER (Corporate) and CSER management the plant-level EICC/CSR risk and issues within regional range.
? Participate in the development, implementation and maintenance of global EICC/CSR policies, procedures, inspections programs, reporting and technical writing.
? Determine “best practices” related to EICC/CSR and proliferate these practices within the organization.
? Support Compliance Manager-SER (Corporate) to adhere to all EICC/CSR rules and regulations and provides training to sites teams where applicable.
? Support Compliance Manager-SER (Corporate) on all emergency program development and administration that are related to EICC/CSR.
? Functioning as main point-of-contact for EICC audit activities for Asia region
Communication:
? Provide regular communications on EICC implementation.
? Organize verbal and written ideas clearly and use an appropriate business style.
? Ability to effectively present information to management and/or EICC personnel.
? Ability to respond in a timely fashion to common inquiries or complaints from EICC staffers, or internal personnel.
? Ability to conduct worker interviews in a manufacturing environment.
? Good relational skill will be interacting with multiple plants and must garner respect and be able to influence.
? Good spoken and written English is preferred.
? Good Mandarin is preferred due to concentration of factories is in China
General Requirement
? Ability to effectively present information to senior management and/or industry work group personnel.
? Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by manager.
? Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
? Contribute to the global growth of Jabil both fundamentally and financially.
? Good command on global standards such as ISO14001, SA8000 and OSHAS18001.
? Solid and rich experience with auditing program in a manufacturing field.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
? Business or Technical undergraduate degree
? 3 years experience in managing and/or conducting audits such as EICC, ISO14001, SA8000 and OSHAS18001
? Experience in manufacturing processes is preferred
? Experience in human resource and supply chain management is preferred.
? Demonstrate high performance orientation, detail orientation, market knowledge and sound judgment
? Proficient in budget & expense management.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
? Frequent travel to Jabil sites is required, with focus on China facilities
? Anticipated amount of travel to be 50-60%
