职位描述

Company Profile:
A European owned company and is operating for 50 years now on a worldwide basis, as a supplier of material handling and palletising systems, providing project specific logistic solutions to our customers as well as more standardized end of line palletisers, especially for FMCG industry.

General duties and tasks
1. Develops the organization's purchasing strategy
2. Does the forecast of demand for services and products to meet the business needs and keeping a constant check on stock levels to maximize business efficiency;
3. Conducts research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality;
4. Assures the liaisons between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and customers;
5. Identifies potential suppliers, visiting existing suppliers, and building and maintaining good relationships with them;
6. Negotiates and agrees contracts and monitories their progress checking the quality of service provided;
7. Handles technical details relating to international transportation, such as customs regulations and any necessary documentation
8. Evaluates the costs of transportation, services and inventory within any budget or distribution strategy.

Key skills and qualifications
1. The Logistics and Purchase manager will possess excellent leadership, management, communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated sense of purpose, planning, organization, and timely execution;
2. Over 10 years working experience in leading Machine building industries, with at least 5 years in a senior role with full responsibility for planning, logistics and purchase;
3. The Logistics Manager must have knowledge of national and international import/export legislation and must be able to effectively troubleshoot any issues that may arise in international freight transportation.
4. A minimum of a master degree in Logistics/Purchasing related discipline, or equivalent, preferably with some financial qualifications or training – a solid understanding of budgeting and financial planning is essential as this role involves agreeing annual budgets;
5. Excellent written and verbal communication
6. Fluent English and Mandarin
7. This position has to be station in Foshan, Guangdong.
