GENERAL FUNCTION

Responsible for a team undertaking approval of suppliers material physical test report, RS reports, managing our CPSIA safety and similar compliance programs, ensuring accuracy of work and maintenance of work standards to agreed schedules.

PRIMARY DUTIES

1. Screening of all Children’s Footwear for CPSIA Compliance and management of WWW CPSIA compliance program.
2. Approving RS reports and management of WWW Korean and similar compliance programs.
3. Approving factory and supplier test reports before sending to relevant people.
4. Liaising with internal laboratory teams where additional testing and/or check testing is necessary
5. Liaising with outside test laboratories (factory, supplier and 3rd party)
6. Assists manager in auditing or training factory or supplier laboratory systems as necessary.
7. Registering of work
8. Allocation of work within the team
9. Maintenance of computer databases and tracking systems
10. Preparation of test reports and or certificates of compliance
11. Effectively and professionally managing direct report(s)
12. Performs duties consistent with the company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
13. Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
1. Relevant experience (attendance at College & University may be considered relevant)
2. English speaking
3. Knowledge of laboratory operation [or management of compliance programs]
4. Good analytical and problem solving skills.
5. Good English and Mandarin oral and written communication skills.
6. Computer literate, MS Office applications and MS Outlook
