Job Position: Logistic and Warehouse Manager
Location: Jiangmen, Guangdong
Report to: Supply Chain Manager

Our client is a sizeable multinational company in the packaging industry. They are looking for a Logistic Manager to lead, manage, and motivate a team of individuals in managing the company’s warehouse and logistic activities.

PURPOSE
The Logistic Manager is responsible to coordinate the team of Logistics and W/H to align with the operation of other departments & customers; Enhance management and fine-tune the process of department; Monitor and control the W/H operation in Jiangmen.

The manager will oversee all warehouse and logistics operation of company facilities in the country.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. To manage Logistics & W/H section as per Company’s Organizational Chart
2. To monitor and coordinate the W/H and transportation management to align with the development and planning of company.
3. To review and optimize work process and priority to improve the efficiency of W/H and transportation.
4. To plan and set up high-standard distribution center to meet management’s expectation.
5. To allocate W/H resource, including people and facilities efficiently; monitor & control proper process of FG W/H, RM W/H and transportation, especially on Stock accuracy, FIFO and optimized inventory level.
6. To monitor and control custom clearance for all import and export.
7. To manage bonded and regular FG & RM to meet custom requirement.
8. To trouble shoot and resolve all W/H, transportation & custom clearance issues.
9. Any other jobs or duties as directly by senior management and/or are required to make the W/H and Logistics operation more effective and efficient.

MAJOR TASKS：

1. To report all W/H & Logistics performance to senior management as and when required. Such reports includes Key Performance Reports (KPI), weekly and or Month-end and year end report or as required
2. To response to internal and external customers inquiries (both written and verbal as may be required)
3. To ensure timely material supply, FG delivery and custom clearance.
4. To ensure that all hazardous materials or solvent are properly stored and managed
5. To draw-up WH annual budget and to ensure approved budget and/or targets set are achieved
6. To properly arrange W/H resource, including people, W/H space, F/L & Pallets to meet sales and production requirement.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

1. Degree or above majored in logistics management or relevant.
2. Minimum 5 years working experience and minimum 3 years in managerial role in logistics management in MNC.
3. Good at control, coordination and leadership skill.
4. Good interpersonal skill
5. Independent and can work without supervision. Can work under pressure.
6. Good command of English both oral and written
7. Familiar with office software, like Microsoft Office.

All staff will be expected to take responsibility and to perform tasks outside their functional role, e.g. process owner (a separate JD will be attached if needed), project team member, mentor etc.
