Job Description
Sensing Products new Project engineer will be responsible to provide all necessary product development support to ensure timely completion of wafer fabrication, assembly, testing, and characterization and qualification activities of new products. New project engineer's responsibilities also include facilitating device set-up on SAP, ATSS set-up, ensure timely completion of the eRTP process to meet RTM schedule. New project engineer will need to work with design, test and failure analysis engineers to resolve failures during qualification and characterization. Good understanding of wafer processing, packaging and test process is critical to be successful in this job. Should have good understanding of statistical methods and data analysis tools available in TI. Previous Test or Product Experience is highly desirable.
Depending on skill-set and experience of the person, new project engineers will be called to manage projects from overview/kick-off phase to hand off to the sustaining team. This will include interface with functional teams inside and external to Sensing product line, provide regular update to management on project status and keeping the team focused on execution through weekly NPAT meetings/tracking action items. The person in this role will be responsible for developing a schedule and risk mitigation plan for each project assigned with inputs from other NPAT team members to enable successful completion of the project that meet schedule and the boundary agreement accepted by the team. Customer and field team interface will be needed during critical phases of the project.


Basic QualificationsThis person should hold a bachelors degree or equivalent in Electrical, Computer Engineering.
