Responsibilities:
Role summary:
Through general guidance of GAS Supplier Development Asia Manager, you will have the responsibility for providing suppliers support in developing their performance & improving their global output. You will assist & support all transfer activity from Europe/US to Asia and take part in the implementation process of all GAS supply chain activities within Asia.

Principal Accountability:
+ Improvement of Suppliers' Performance through standard processes
+ Supplier Process Control Assessment Audits
+ Parts transfer management
+ New Product Introduction - Suppliers Rate Readiness
+ Collaborative Cost reduction through CI and technical changes at suppliers' side
+ Issue regular Supplier Performance Packs (On time delivery & Quality performance)
+ Review in Parallel internal GAS schedules
+ Stabilise Schedules And Lead Times
+ Establish a Consistent Delivery Performance at GAS expectations level
+ Establish a Consistent Quality Performance at GAS expectations level
+ Establish Long Term View Of All Demand
+ Review Material Procurement
+ Identify Areas For Improvement & implement through lean activity
+ Assist with the development of key strategic suppliers
+ Establish a strong working relationship with strategic suppliers

Requirements:
+ Qualified Engineer-Degree Level or equivalent work experience
+ At least 3+ or better 5+ years of experience
+ Management and Supplier Development
+ Experience in Continuous Improvement Lean approach would be a plus
+ Preferred with Lean/6 Sigma knowledge/certificate;
+ Good management skills with Suppliers;
+ Supervise suppliers' performance
+ Experience in Continuous Improvement

+ IT literate Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word)
+ Good management skills with Suppliers
+ Supervise suppliers' performance
+ Be Able to handle multiple tasks
+ Demonstrated coaching and skills transfer competencies are essential
+ Must have good interpersonal skills and be a strong team player
+ Fluency English and Chinese Mandarin is required
+ French language skill will be a plus
+ Prefer Hong Kong/Taiwan candidate for Asia travel convenience
